FAQs

Q?Do I have to drain my pool before Elite Pool Tile Cleaning arrives?
A.

We try to impact our customers as little as possible. Therefore, we use our heavy duty pumps to drain the water out in a matter of minutes and not hours.

Q?Does the pool get completely drained?
A.

We do not drain the pool completely. We only take the water 6″ to 10″ below the tile.

Q?What cleans the pool tile?
A.

We use a glass bead system.

Q?Will the glass beads hurt my pool tile?
A.

Our beads are smaller than industry standard. They’re round like a marble but are smaller than a grain of sugar. They even clean that plastic strip around the pool between the tile
and the concrete without hurting it.

Q?Where do the beads go once they go through the bead blaster?
A.

Once the bead removes the calcium from the tile, they drop to the bottom of the pool until we clean them up to finish the job.

Q?Do we clean up the beads?
A.

We wash the pool area to remove the beads and use a water vacuum to remove the beads from the pool.

Q?How long will the tile stay clean?
A.

There is no set time for every pool. It all depends on your water chemistry. We recommend that you test your water to make sure the calcium levels are between 200 ppm and 400 ppm.
We also recommend you drain your pool half way if the calcium levels are to high.

Q?Is the pool safe to swim in immediately after?
A.

Even though the water level has been lowered, your pool is safe to swim in as soon as we walk away.

Q?Do you doing anything else besides pool tile cleaning?
A.

We clean rock, waterfalls ,and tiles. Unfortunately we do not provide a weekly pool service.

Q?Do you have to enter the water to do the cleaning?
A.

We do not have to get in the water, unless there is a spot that can not be reached from the side of the pool. Many examples are rocks that would overhang the water by a little bit.
